The Design Trust was founded on the belief that good design starts with a distinctive idea and evolves by listening to the clients and adhering to a visual style. Simple, short and memorable is the key to beautiful work.

Throughout Dan's career he has specialized in corporate identity & brand design with a unique distinction. He has assembled a stand-out portfolio of solutions of clients ranging from small local businesses to large corporations in industries that include retail, media and entertainment, sports and fund raising events, insurance, medical and consumer goods.

Dan has developed work for clients including Ragbrai, NCAA, NFL, NBA and NHL, Adidas, Starter Athletics, John Deere, Gallagher the comedian, American Eagle, Heartland Electric, Johnson Gas, Theatre Cedar Rapids, Heuer Publishing, Brucemore and many others.

Outside of graphic design Dan creates whimsical sculptures from reclaimed wood for his company "Reclamation". This growing company was featured in a segment on HGTV's, "That's Clever!" and in a spot-light editorial in "Log Home Living" magazine amoung others.
