MAF Named Among Top 25
Art Festivals Nationwide.
Art Fair SourceBook, "The Definitive Guide to the Best Juried Arts and Craft Fairs in the United States," has announced the Marion Arts Festival as being among the Top 25 fine art and fine craft festivals in the nation for 2012.
“Our one-day, fifty-artist event is considered alongside festivals in cities like Atlanta, Baltimore and Washington, DC – many exhibiting hundreds of artists, most lasting three or more days and with audiences numbering in the hundreds of thousands," said Deb Bailey, Marion Arts Festival Director. "A Top 25 ranking acknowledges the high quality work of our exhibitors and the deep interest and support of the community.”
Marion Arts Festival is ranked #17 among the top tier of fine art events. Other festivals named in the AFSB Top 25 include the St. Louis Art Fair, Scottsdale Arts Festival, New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver, Colorado.
Art Fair SourceBook is an independent resource for artists that enables them to more effectively engage the nation’s top six hundred events, and is further dedicated to working with art fair organizers by providing extensive feedback.
AFSB Editor Gregory Lawler congratulates Marion Arts Festival on achieving the elite status. “This show is a winner. The MAF is wildly successful for a one-day event, and has clearly earned the praise.”
